The Organisational Data Snapshot records demographic information about the people who work with, volunteer for, govern, and engage with your organisation. It gives you a quantitative evidence base you can return to year on year — a clear picture of who is represented across every level, and where you don't yet know.
Before you begin. Collect only what is lawful, ethical, and proportionate. Ensure compliance with GDPR and data protection law. Always allow options for 'prefer not to say' and 'unknown'. Where you don't hold data, mark the block Not collected — the absence of data is itself a finding, and naming it honestly is part of the evidence.

Summary
Your organisation at a glance
This builds automatically from the figures above. The totals show how many people you hold data for at each level. The comparison shows how one characteristic is distributed across every level of the organisation — where governance, workforce and audience diverge, and where a pipeline narrows.
Data Quality & Limitations
What does your data tell you — and what is missing?
The absence of data is itself a finding. Naming your gaps honestly is part of the evidence base, not a failure of it.
Analysis Framework
What does the data mean?
Compare your data to the demographic profile of your local area (available from the ONS census or your local authority profile). The pattern across populations usually matters more than any single figure.

What happens next
The data on this page is evidence. It shows where representation sits across your organisation — and, just as usefully, where you don't yet know.
What it doesn't do is tell you what to change first. A snapshot names the gaps; it doesn't sequence the response. Which gap to prioritise, how governance and workforce and audience connect, what to act on now and what to hold — that is the work that turns a data return into a plan your board can act on.
That work is the KEE to Inclusion audit. If you'd like your snapshot read properly and turned into a sequenced, evidenced plan, get in touch.
